German is in charge of fostering the fast growing db4o open source community and conducts a variety of marketing activities. Being an longtime Smalltalk & Java programmer and Linux user, he understands what open source software developers want and need.

Prior to serving as db4objects' global community manager, German was CIO at Cyber Quality Control SRL, an IT consulting company in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

German also manages the Hispanic community of db4o and is the local representative of db4objects in Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets since 2005.
