• New case study - Arum DataEye: Arum DataEye provides companies with fast visual access to their key performance indicators. • ICOODB 2010 - Call for Contributions: We invite you to submit a contribution to the 3rd International Conference on Objects and Databases 2010 (ICOODB), to take place on September 28-30, 2010, at the Goethe University Frankfurt, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
• CRUD app with Wicket + Guice + db4o: TimeFinder wicket based app backed by db4o is now available as Maven project.
• db4o plugin for Griffon framework now available: Griffon is a Grails like application framework for developing desktop applications in Groovy. The db4o plugin (griffon-db4o v0.1) enables lightweight access to database functionality using db4o.
• A Simple Standalone Server for db4o as Windows Service: A simple db4o server (with source code) that runs as a Windows service.
• Avoid singleton pattern using StructureMap with db4o: In this blog post Elliott O'Hara shows us how to avoid contamining your db4o server code with the singleton pattern thanks to StructureMap (a Dependency Injection / Inversion of Control tool for .NET) (sample source code included).
• db4o-7.4-2.fc13 Mono RPM for i686 (Fedora) now available: The Fedora guys recently compiled a RPM with db4o 7.4 (Mono version).
• db4o.git package available on debian.org (db4o v7.4): Currently owned by David Paleino, this is a Mono version of db4o.
• db4o continues with "Cash for Cases" program: We're still looking for new and interesting case studies of applications that took a leap forward thanks to the db4o technology. But now you have the chance to be rewarded for your submission!
