Anat Gafni Joins db4objects as VP of Engineering
SAN MATEO, Calif., Apr. 17, 2007 - db4objects (www.db4o.com),
creator of the leading open source object database db4o, today announced that Anat
Gafni has joined the company as Vice President of Engineering reporting to db4objects'
CEO Christof Wittig.
Ms. Gafni brings over 20 years of experience in managing software development and
product strategy to db4objects, where she is now responsible for the engineering
and support organization. Prior to joining db4objects Ms. Gafni served as
VP of Engineering and Alliances at Troika Networks, a startup that established the
new area of intelligent storage HBAs and switches, where she was in charge of software
development and co-development projects with partners. She also served as
Engineering Manager at VERITAS Software, where she managed various groups, including
the Removable Media Management group and the Volume Manager group.

Anat earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California,
