SAN MATEO, Calif., January 14, 2008 – db4objects (www.db4o.com), creator of the leading open source object
database for Java and .NET, announced today that the second global db4o User Conference
(dUC 2008) will be held in Berlin, Germany on March 12. db4o users and db4objects
developers will gather to discuss the worlds favorite object database.
The event in 2006 was a phenomenal success. "I learned some really helpful use cases
that will allow me to integrate db4o more effectively in my own projects. "said
Ulysses Wong from Wireless Intellect Labs, Singapore. "I am really impressed with
the diversity of applications in which other developers are using db4o - especially
for their core development activities."
The dUC 2008 is scheduled one day before the first international conference on object
databases, ICOODB which will be held at the same venue, the University of Applied
Sciences (TFH) in Berlin, so that attendants have the opportunity to attend both
events. At the dUC 2008, attendees will have the ability to influence the product
roadmap of db4o for 2008/09, learn about best practices, and socialize with peers
and key db4o individuals from the U.S., South America, Europe, Japan, China, and
Korea.
The list of speakers includes Carl Rosenberger, Chief Software Architect of db4objects,
Christof Wittig, CEO of db4objects and Stefan Edlich, co-author of the book "The
Definitive Guide to db4o."
